Great 3' cable - Helps avoid having excess cable

I originally had a 6' Griffin cable which got the job done, but my AUX jack sits approximately 18 inches or so from my lap in my automobile and the 6' cable left me always having cable getting in the way.
I replaced it with this 3' Monster cable in an effort to eliminate excess cable and it has helped greatly.
I have experienced no problem at all with sound cutting out, or quality issues. I have used this with an iPod classic and an iPhone 3G - both worked great with it.
This is now my cable of choice... Until I find a 18" to 2' cable! |

I am sort of getting a kick out of these reviews. Heck, it's a cable! It's not even a device! What does it actually do? Connects your I-phone or other device to the car auxiliary input system. But it does work very well. The cable seems to be of exceptional build quality. For whatever reason this costs around $15, which seems like a lot to me. The kicker here is that the Best Buy store brand costs maybe $13. For the extra two bucks this cable seems to be a much better quality and is slightly thinner and more flexible than the Best Buy cable I have. In the end, I still feel like it's a lot of money for a cable but it is clearly a very high quality cable and well worth a couple of extra dollars. I highly recommend it. But I don't love it. In the end, it's still only a cable! Just on principle, for me to love it, it would have to have a basic level of function that exceeds that of a cable. So if you are looking for something to love, look elsewhere, but it you are looking for a cable that works really well, this would be it.

This Monster Icable works perfectly with my wife's 1st gen iPhone without having to use a separate adapter; this was an important feature I needed, as many other car cable's jack/connectors are too large to fit the older iPhone. This cable also works great with my iPhone 3G. Perfect cord length, not too long that you have a ton of cable laying around in the car. I have ebony/black interior and I thought the white cable would look out of place, but it really doesn't. No complaints.

I finally had to use my old cheap aux cable because this one cuts on and off. I have to jiggle the plug to get it to play when it cuts out. At first I thought it was my stereo, but the old one works fine.
Must buy if want to use iPod in car.

Works really good. I bought the dealer cable at first and that one suppose to fit any mp3 pllayer but didn't fit on my iPod and didn't work at all. Returned that one and bought this one. This one fits good and it sounds clear in my car.

I bought this because the original cable I bought would not fit through the opening of my hard case I have on my IPhone. The tip of this connector is very small so it does not not have a problem. Also, I have read that the belkin went bad over time. I have had this for over a month now and the sound quality is great and it works like expected.
Great Cable For My Zune MP3 Player

I was apprehensive about ordering a no-name cable for my car so I decided to purchase this one because of Monster's reputation and the positive reviews this particular cable received. Yeah, it could be less expensive, but at least it's a good product for what you'd pay. Despite it being labeled an Icable for iPods and other Apple products, I use it with my Zune 80GB MP3 player. The sound quality is very good (no noise interference) and the fact that it's only 3 ft long is fantastic. Just about every other cable I looked at was 6 ft or longer, which is just totally unnecessary for a car auxiliary jack. So, all in all, I'd recommend this product whether you've got a Zune or an iPod.
Perfect length for use in a vehicle

The 3-ft length is perfect for use with the Aux jack in my car. I keep my iPhone plugged in and have just enough length to use the it (while stopped, of course!). I had been using a 6 ft cable before and am glad I cam across this shorter version.
