Surprisingly bad.

Not what I expected from OEM. I love my W760a, but this headset is awful. I use headphones with my phone primarily to listen to MP3's and FM radio, and this thing sounds terrible. A cheap stereo on max volume in a small closet, upstairs, terrible. And I can't keep the blasted things in my ears. I have difficulty with most earbuds, I have small ear canals or something, I don't know. But these are uncomfortable and drop out constantly. They're basically unusable for me. This is probably also why they sound so bad, but what do want from me?
Additionally, the rubber pads come off very easily, and the design is clunky and tangles easily. Oh, and if the earbud section is fully plugged into the adapter, I only get left channel sound. I have to pull it out a few millimeters and hope it stays there, so that's fun.
On the plus side, the button to answer calls works. You answer when you push it. So, you know, awesome. Unfortunately, the mic picks up so much ambient noise I have to yank the thing out and just talk into the phone.
My little 3.5mm headset adapter broke after several months of heavy use. It was one cent, and worked brilliantly. It's up to $0.24 now, so I ordered three. When they arrive, I'm throwing this headset away. |

First the good:
1.They are cheap
2.Reasonably good sound quality when listening to music
3.comfortable ear buds
the cons:
1.The microphone is definitely bad, people on the other end complain that they hear a loud high pitched buzzing sort of sound
2.ear buds tend to fall out every so often.
do not buy these with an intention of using them as a headset (i.e. making calls) people will hate you for it |
Excellent sound but...

I ordered 2 of this ear buds and they both didn't work right. I had to pull out the connector from the jack @ 1/8" for both sides to work. When it does work, the sound quality is excellent for what it is and it's size.
Anyone who want to buy from this vendor must review their return/refund policy beforehand since they don't offer return for replacement and there may be a hefty "restocking fees" for refund. Also, the shipping and handling fees are @ 50% of the cost of the product itself so, you're really not getting your money's worth(as indicated by savings they show).
Being that there "may be" upwards of 30% restocking fees, I'm just going to find a way to modify them and make them work as it came. All things considered, I will never order from this vendor again... You really do get what you pay for from this vendor, a cheap product made cheaply for pure profit. |
Cheap but defective

| I ordered this after my original broke so that I could listen to music and talk hands free. The headset works fine to listen to music but the microphone is defective (people on teh other end hear painful screeching). Given that it's about 25% of retail, I figure that's probably why they are willing and able to sell them so cheap. So, buyer beware. |
Broke after only 4 days!

I would say that this headset was only worth one star, but I will go ahead and give two because they did work perfectly for the first few days I had them. Also--despite the reviews claiming that the cords are too short--the design is great; I could once again listen to music on my SE walkman phone (placed firmly in my pocket, mind you--and I'm 5'10") with great sound once I got these.
Alas, the main cord detached from just beneath the mouthpiece when I inadvertently tugged at the headset cord when I was trying to undo a neck scarf. Considering the headset that came with my phone lasted for over a year under the same type of normal wear and tear, I find this unacceptable. |
fine but....

| ya! This is the same as sony ericsson head phones but the dealer din't provide with the three types of ear buds. if the ones given are not suitable for you, you need to purchase them again. I am fine with them but keep this in mind. Njoy. |

| I received this product 3 weeks ago....was well packaged and arrived on time...works well for my sony tm506......the only thing i gave it 4 stars is that it looks to be built from cheap materials.....not so sturdy looking..otherwise the sound quality is great |

| Well, I found this product for a little over $4.00. Unfortunately, there was an error in the manufacturing of it. the cord is Y shaped like its supposed to be, but there should have been 2 ear buds on the shorter parts of the y and then the little plug insert at the long part. Instead, I had 1 ear but on one short part, the other ear but on the long part and the plug on the shorter end. They work, but I have to hold my MP3 player right next to my head because the cord isn't long enough. |
