I bought this camera and I hate it! It takes lousy pictures, they aren't clear, the image stabilization is non-existant. It eats batteries like crazy and it is always either too light or too dark on the pictures no matter how you adjust it. I won't buy Polaroid again.
Good for money

It's not the simplest camera to use, and the picture quality isn't the greatest. But it packs more features and value for the money than anything else I could find. I was buying it for my 12 year old, so looking for something not expensive, but not a toy. This is it.

I purchased this camera for my daughter's 7th birthday, with the attitude that all the children's digital cameras for which I had read reviews were about the same price as this camera, and were pretty much across the board terrible. I hoped this camera would take a bit better photos than a kid's camera, but not necessarily masterpieces. This camera takes horrible photos. When my daughter takes photos in the "auto" mode, they are almost always blurry and distorted. I tried my hand at using the camera, and found that it was hit and miss whether I could get a good photo out of the camera. For a 7 MP camera, the resolution of even the "good" photos is terrible. All the photos were grainy. Further, I have to change the batteries daily, and my daughter isn't taking a huge number of photos. Yes, this is an inexpensive camera, but really it's just a cheap camera. Save up your money for something that actually takes good quality photos and at least has a rechargeable battery.
OK for a basic camera, but battery life is deplorable.

I wanted to get a decent "beginner" digital camera for my 8-year-old daughter so was really attracted to this 7MP camera and she loved the color. The price was what sold it though. At $50, I wouldn't be as worried about how it was treated or if it got lost.
My daugther really likes it and the pictures are decent, but the battery life is ridiculously short. It takes 2 AA batteries and will generally die after a hour or so of collective use.
The camera is OK, but if I had to do it over again, would have purchased a different camera. |

My 9 yr old daughter loves the camera. It takes good pictures. Not as user friendly as would of liked. And the batteries go fast so I am buying her re-chargeable batteries. Good for the price.
Great lil Cam

I love my little camera. It is really easy to use. Definately worth the $50! With purchasing this nifty lil device I was also able to contribute a donation to Breast Cancer, as well! I would DEFINATELY reccomend this to anyone who wants a good digital camera that won't break the bank!

This camera is especially good for kids...great quality, plus protective cover, and it takes AA batteries!

The value on this purchase is obvious...perfect for what it was purchased for (an extra camera that can be left in my wife's office)...truth be told? The display is better than the display on my $400 camera...the features leave other cameras "in the dust" and the battery life is remarkable...A GREAT DEAL...to be sure.

Very satisfied with this purchase. It was exactly as the seller advertised it to be, which is important.

I bought this camera as a surprise gift for my sister who moved away from home. She did not have a camera and all of us back home wanted to see pictures of her new place. Well, she has had the camera for over a month now and we have yet to see any pictures. She says that every time she goes to take pictures, the batteries run out. I knew this camera did not come with rechargeable batteries, but it is a bit ridiculous that the batteries last for such a short time. I wish I would have spent $20 - $30 more and gotten her one that is better for every day use.
