5 stars aren't enough for this case.

| I absolutely love this thing! Plenty of room... huge, quiet, effective case fans. And I REALLY like it's appearance. I can't think of anything that I'd change on it. Awesome case. :) |
Great For Monter Builds

| Case is great. I wish the side panels on these series were just big windows (though people mod them all the time)...but that's just preference. The airflow is great very well and the black interior is a plus. Recommend if you're using a giant CPU cooler, need good airflow, multiple video cards and such (has lots of space). |
Monster case but installation maybe be annoying

I've been an Antec fan for quite a while. I have the very first Antec Nine Hundred and the second revision over the past years. I finally without any doubt picked this Antec Twelve hundred for my i7 gaming rig.
Pro:
This case has front panel filters. Unscrew that 4 thumb screws from each side which will allow you to pull each front section out. The filters are right behind the front grid for cleaning. Now this makes it so much easier because with the fans constantly on, your front panel can collect dust very easily.
Lots of room, and side panel holes for wire management.
Huge top fan, just like Antec 900.
Fan and top light control panel on the back. Nobs on the front panel to control the front fans. No more wired switches hanging everywhere!
Cons:
Rear has two 120mm fans that are pretty close together. Thinking about Corsair H50 Hydro CPU Cooler? Well think again. I have an Asus Rampage III Extreme with 4 PCIEx16 slots, but my first slot is pretty close to the bottom rear fan. You cannot install the radiator to the top fan, only the bottom fan will allow the Corsair H50 to fit. This will block you from installing a graphics card to the first PCIE slot. I had to put it on the second slot which is only 8x by default.
CPU rear compartment on the case isn't perfect, don't expect to be able to install the CPU heat sink rear attachment like the Corsair cases.
A lot of thumb screwing, each front section requires you to unscrew 4 thumbscrews on each side which means 8. Then you gotta unscrew your HDD, ODD, whatever hardware you want to take out or add in. Not only that, the fan power cable is cable managed in, so u cannot get far from the case with that removed.
Noise do add up when you have all fans on high so you have to experiment on what is acceptable for your noise level comfort.
This unit is heavy. I put this casing behind my desk which only has about 3 feet wide clearance for me to put in. If I have to take it out of that area and open up the casing, it can get exhausting moving it back and forth.
Make sure your power supply has long enough cables, because you may need that extra length to properly wire manage.
I'm being critical because I've been stress testing my system for more than a week. A lot of removing parts, installing them again. Ultimately, there are better cases if you want to spend more, but for this price, this case is wonderful. |
Decent, but Has Issues

I'm happy with the purchase of the Antec 1200, but I'd like to highlight the pain points I've had it:
* The front fan filters will get dusty every so often, and to clean them requires taking off the side panels and removing all the thumbscrews for the drive bay cages. This is a total of 28 thumbscrews off, and then putting back all 28 thumbscrews on after the filters are clean. This is a 15 minute job and every time I take off a side panel, I risk scuffing it.
* The side panel opening to the motherboard has a fan bracket for an extra 120mm fan to cool your video card. However, using a full-height CPU cooler, like the Noctua NH-U12P SE 1366 I have installed, and I can't put the side panel back on. To get around this, I had to buy an extra custom side panel made with a plexiglass window to make it look decent. That was an extra $100 (after shipping) that I wasn't ready to spend.
Lastly, when the 200mm fan goes dead, I'm hoping that Antec will still stock replacements. Here's a URL for anybody who is interested:

I may pre-emptively just buy one so I can ensure the longevity of the case.
Past that, I'm loving the amount of storage, the looks, the ability to hide all the cords behind the motherboard tray, and the swap-ability of the drive bays cages. Installation of my motherboards was easier than it was with any other case I've used, and system temps are noticeably below the same setup in a mid-tower, no matter what the cooling setup. Great product overall. |
Best case I ever bought

| IT, experience 15 years. Even though my new components didn't work, I put my old system in this. I also bought cp-1000 antec ps. Phenom 9850be x4, 8gb ddr2 ram, radeon 4670 hb graphics card, 5 sata hd. Love the fans, I don't use anymore cooling, besides aftermarket heatsink and my pc is 16 degrees cooler than previous case. More room, tons of places to moves wires. Pullout filters on fans are superb. evAntec Twelve Hundred ATX 12 Drive Bays 2xUSB 2.0 eSATA Audio Full Tower Caseerything is sturdy, easy to use. I never write reviews, but this fantastic. I will recommend this to many, worth the money! |

| This by far has to be the best case that I have ever owned. The air flow is incredible. No need for liquid cooling. |
Penty of room with this BIG BOY!!

This is a perfect case for the person who wants to build their "Dream Computer". Plenty of room, drive bays, and a fair amount of room for cable management (Tho it's abit tricky if you have all the hardware I put in mine". The stock fans work great! If you want a full tower with plenty of room to build, THIS IS THE ONE!!!!!!!!
My specs:
AMD Phenom II x4 955 black edition
XFX ATI HD 5870
3 optiarc 22x DVD burners
1 Pioneer BD burner
4 WD 750gb hard drives
Corsair H50 liquid CPU cooler
NZXT Sentry-2 touch screen fan controller
Roswill all-in-one card reader
Antec 1000w modular power supply

| This case was a pleasure to put together. Everything fit nicely and looked attractive. I really liked all the little touches; being able to hide your cables underneath the motherboard plate, washable filters, no sharp edges and the nice fan layout. |
Amazing airflow (Case temps never above 40 degrees)

| Got this product today with Amazon Prime 2 day shipping. Bought it Monday, arrived Wednesday at noon so shipping was accurate. Not only did this product have everything they claimed to have (such as removable 3 drive trays, optional fan mounts (not fans but mounts) and careful, clean packaging) but it came with bonuses I had not expected. Either Antec read some reviews on this case or the pictures I looked at weren't up to date, but they added an extra hole in the back panel of the case in case you want to mount a back support for your CPU cooler. Mine (Corsair Cooling Hydro Series H50 - Corsair Cooling Hydro Series H50 All in One High-performance CPU Cooler CWCH50-1) does have a back support mount and this little addition saved probably 10 min worth of time that I would have had to use pre-assembling the CPU cooler on the motherboard before installing it. Because my cooler has an attached radiator, installing it after installing the motherboard was the ideal solution. Also, the screws holding the drive bay trays in were thumb screws (rather than the pictured screws) so even though you have to remove 8 of them to remove a tray, this little addition can speed up the process. All in all, these cases don't have a lot of features that make one stand out from another, but I will say this. The fans are quiet, the case is large and roomy for good air flow, and the back panel has a good 1 inch gap for easy clean cable management. Well worth the $150.00. Due be warned that this case weights about 35 lbs without anything in it. If you are looking for a LAN case, you probably should look for an aluminum or mid tower case that is more portable. If you are looking for a semi permanent Gaming Case, you can't go wrong with the Antec 1200!! |
